What I Ate Wednesday #3

Hi Everyone! Linking up with Jenn this week for another WIAW. Here we go, yo!

I try not to ever be Debbie Downer, but yesterday was just a sucky day. Just a woke up on the wrong side of the bed kind of days. I'm not sure what I was thinking, but didn't go workout and that multiplied the sucky-ness of the day by about oh, a thousand. Then, I saw a blind man walking through the grocery store parking lot, immediately started bawling and then nearly punched myself for feeling sorry for myself. Funny how God works...

Speaking of, here's what He (and Arby's |:|) graced me with today.

Started off with AdvocareRunner's ACV concoction. There's no getting around the hideousness of this drink for me. It's full of magical powers, but tastes like corked Franzia. I have to talk myself into drinking it. I've been without it for a couple of weeks and have noticed a HUGE difference in my skin and the amount of water I've been holding onto so, back on the wagon.

Followed by the usual, Spark + Catalyst + MNS Max C
Then a Meal Replacement Shake

This is my first time taking MNS and it is rocking my world. Seriously. I have the energy of a 3 year old. I thought I felt good before - this took my energy to a whole new level. I'm on Day 17 of my first 24-Day Challenge and haven't noticed a huge loss in weight or inches, but the energy, ooooooo the energy! I have found a new love. I will never go without this.

I'd really like to lean out in the ab/adductor and the oblique region, but it's completely my fault that I'm not. I haven't been eating clean or working out like I need to be. Sometimes life just gets in the way and you just have to do what you can do which, leads me into lunch...

Arby's Roast Turkey & Swiss, no swiss, no mayo. I took the meat and veggies and put them all on one half so I got rid of one piece of the ginormous bread.

According to MFP, these were the macros. Not bad, but definitely not great. You do what you gotta do when life gets crazy and you're stuck out in about in the "Fattest City in the Country" with no Meal Replacement Bar. #lessonlearned

It was one of those 'I'm constantly starving' kind of days.

Super greens with a tomato, EVOO and balsamic and leftover Tamale Pie. Again, not the best, but got some good greens in to fill me up.

Dinner was quick and easy - Buffalo organic chicken with sauteed zucchini and surprise, more cornbread.

And I wonder why I'm not leaning out ;) It was just one of those days. Please tell me you have these kind of days every once in a while!

Oh, and don't forget to enter the May Books Giveaway! They are the most adorable and useful little books. I love them!

  2. I have these days like every day haha I think striving to be healthy is great, but at some point I realized that I am probably doing as much as I can on the food and exercise front without going completely overboard! I mean I don't want to give up going out for drinks with friends or getting froyo with my sister and i don't have the time to put in double days of working out! I think as long as you put in the most effort you can and still are able to do the things you want to do, then that is when you are at your healthiest!

  4. Girly, you look AMAZING!! Seriously. Meow!

But yes, I have days like that where everything is going to hell in a handbag in my mind and then I'm constantly starving but really mostly I think I'm starving when I'm really not but I'm just trying to make myself happy because I'm in a super cranky mood and want to eat to feel better. (how's that for the biggest run on sentence ever?)

Anyway, I'm just trying to say....I feel you girl.
